I don't have everything that my device came with. Can I still sell it?

Yes! We gladly accept your devices even if you don’t have everything that it came with. However, if you can send in the accessories that came with your item (i.e. the charger, battery, etc.), we can often pay you more for your trade-in.

What does YouRenew do with my personal information?

YouRenew will never sell or share your personal information with other individuals, companies, or parties without your express consent. Every device that comes in is wiped clean of all information, whether you’ve already done it or not. Please see our privacy policy for more information on our data security policy.

Is there a limit on the number of items I can sell to YouRenew?

No! The more items you sell, the more cash you make.

Why can’t I find my item?

Try as we might, there are always a few devices out there that aren’t in our database. However, we’re always updating YouRenew with new products and categories. If you don’t see your item, let us know and we’ll research it and let you know if we can make you an offer.

How does YouRenew determine the value of my item?

Our technology utilizes market data from a variety of sources to determine the true market value of your item.

What happens if you disagree with the condition I select for my item?

If a discrepancy comes up during the inspection process, we’ll email you with our new offer and the reason behind the changes. You can accept the offer or ask that we return the item.

What happens if I disagree with the value after the inspection?

If you disagree with our revised offer, you can decline our new offer and opt for the device to be returned. If you do not decline our new offer within seven days, we will accept the device and issue you a check for the new value.

Can I sell multiple items to YouRenew?

Yes, and we encourage it! Each time you accept an offer that we make, the device is added to your “My Recycle Bin.” Once you’ve entered all of your devices, proceed to checkout.

How does YouRenew pay me?

YouRenew will send payment via PayPal or check by mail. You designate which method of payment you prefer as part of the checkout process.

How long does it take from the time I ship my item to you for inspection to the time I receive my payment?

The time that delivery via the United States Postal Service takes is out of our control, but usually is only a few days. Once we receive an item, we turn it around as quickly as possible, and update you as to our progress. We notify you once we’ve inspected your item and payment is on the way. Please allow a few days for payment to arrive after you receive the confirmation email.

Does YouRenew accept items from outside of the United States?

Yes. However, we do not offer free shipping from outside the continental United States. You should contact a local shipping provider for advice on sending your items to us.

What does YouRenew do with the items it purchases?

YouRenew believes that reuse is the highest form of sustainability. That’s why we promote reuse first and recycling as a last resort. We aim to get used devices back into the market for reuse – primarily to people who cannot afford to buy new devices.

Where do I ship my item?

After you’ve printed out your United States Postal Service shipping label, you can drop your box off at any USPS location nationwide.

How should I package my item?

You should carefully package your item to ensure that it is not damaged in transit. Use old newspapers, bubble wrap, or other environmentally-friendly packaging material to cushion your item. YouRenew is not responsible for shipping damage that may occur in transit.

I printed my pre-paid business reply mail label, but how do I attach it?

You can attach the label to the package with clear tape. Make sure that the shipping address, bar codes, and other information on the label are visible through the tape!

Does YouRenew offer any other shipping methods besides the USPS?

We offer FREE shipping within the continental United States through our partnership with the USPS. You are welcome to use any other shipping carrier at your own expense. YouRenew does not pay for shipments sent within the continental United States by any other shipping company.

My device isn't listed. Can I still sell it to YouRenew?

If you cannot find your device on the site, please fill out our custom product form, and we will research the device and get back to you. While it is possible that we will not be able to process your device, it is more likely that we have simply not been able to enter it into our database.
