Software Developer
We are looking for smart, talented software developers to join our team. We work on both internal and customer-facing rapid-development applications. Most of our code is in written in Python using the Django application framework. We use PostgreSQL for our backend database and our servers are running Ubuntu. YouRenew's collaborative environment places value on teamwork and creative solutions to problems. We are looking to hire for both full-time and internship positions.
- Solid programming skills
- Knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, object-oriented programming practices
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions
- Self-motivated and resourceful team-player--works well both individually and collaboratively
- Ability to learn new technologies on the fly
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux development environments
- Experience with Django or other web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails.
- Knowledge of database normalization and SQL optimization.
- Experience with unit and/or integration testing
- Experience with distributed version control systems, such as Mercurial or Git

Electronics Expert
We’re looking for driven, enthusiastic individuals to join our rapidly expanding operations team. We need hardworking individuals able to fulfill a variety of duties, ranging from inventory management and shipping to electronics testing and e-commerce management.
- Receiving shipments and evaluating incoming devices
- Managing inventory and working with e-commerce platforms
- Order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping
Prior experience with electronics, mobile phone activations, inventory management, shipping, and e-commerce technologies is a plus.
